Christopher T. Perkins, BSN, RN, is a registered nurse, healthcare leader, and author of All the Ghosts I Bring Home. His nursing background includes Level I trauma emergency care, critical care, and emergency and ICU charge nursing. His writing explores trauma, mental health, leadership, and the human experience of working in healthcare.
Christopher T. Perkins, BSN, RN, began working in healthcare as a certified nursing assistant at seventeen. After becoming a registered nurse, his career took him into Level I trauma emergency care, critical care, and charge nursing. He later moved into healthcare leadership, where his work focuses on clinical operations, patient safety, staff development, interdisciplinary leadership, and quality improvement. He is currently pursuing a Master of Healthcare Administration. Christopher is the author of All the Ghosts I Bring Home, a raw memoir about trauma, mental health, treatment, and the decision to stay. His writing challenges the idea that healthcare workers should simply become more resilient to unbearable conditions and examines what real support can look like.
